![]() ![]() I did find the third whale piece today so that is slow going.įinished the weekly challenge today and the box had a rare mask but the game gave me an epic one when I unlocked that ability so that didn't help much either. Nor is not finding any of the relic pieces yet that aid with boss battles. It's not helping that I haven't got a ring drop yet so having an empty gear slot is not helping. Some are manageable with a crappy pea shooter, the others are impossible without being well specced. And it's luck of the draw what order you get the bosses in. You are fighting old bosses that are more powerful than ever and you fight them screen 1 so you have jack shit for upgrades. It seems to be a boss rush level(and possibly was at one point the last stage before updates) and it is just insane. Others are just bullshit unless you get really favorable level up upgrades. Its an approach better suited for mobile, and the roguelike. There's a couple that have attacks and patterns that are easy to recognize so it's doable to beat with minimal damage. Tomb Raider Reloaded ditches the gritty ultra-realistic visuals used by previous games in favor of stylized cartoon graphics. There are some bosses that are easy as pie to kill without taking damage. Maybe that was done on purpose to teach you about runs and upgrading.ĭon't have an opinion on how fun the gameplay is yet. ![]() First time around I was just eating every attack without knowing how to avoid them. Second time I got to the first boss it had attacks that were easier to see coming and dodge. By the looks of the trailer and screenshots, Tomb Raider Reloaded combines puzzle elements with a top-down shooter style befitting modern rogue-like games. Weird thing was, the boss was different the second time I got to it and was way easier. Always shoots at the closest enemy(or two enemies if you are rockin her dual pistols) You can get passive abilities like dropping bombs where you stand so you can lure enemies into them and whatnot.įirst boss kicked my ass and it took a bit of leveling before I could beat it. Laura auto aims and only shoots when motionless. ![]() Gameplay wise, there's a single virtual analog stick. Ads to bypass time restrictions, to give you a second try(only one life per run otherwise), or to get some free currancy Gameplay is more action-orientated than the slower-paced Lara Croft Go, with the game taking place from an overhead view. Tickets to play which take time to generate(or you can pay to bypass) Tomb Raider Reloaded marks the gun-toting artefact-pincher’s return to iOS and Android, and from the early code we played there’s some promise there albeit with caveats. It's got every single mobile game mechanic in it. ![]()
